Road show held in Beijing to introduce Chinese products set for Expo 2020 Dubai

People.cnA roadshow aiming to introduce China’s participation in the Expo 2020 Dubai was held at the park of the Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition on July 30, 2019. During the event, the progress of the preparation for the upcoming Expo 2020 Dubai and the China Pavilion were briefed. A serious of cutting-edge technologies, such as the five-hundred-meter aperture spherical telescope (FAST), the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS), 5G technology and artificial intelligence (AI), as the major exhibits, will be displayed for the first time at the China Pavilion, also known as the Light of China. Moreover,the high-speed train driving simulator and intelligent connected vehicles, as the innovative solutions for“smart mobility”, will also make debut at the expo, so as to showcaseChina’s achievements in scientific and technological innovation.
Mariam Shanmuhi,the charge d'affairesat the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates(UAE) in China, attended the event and delivered a speech. She said that the theme of the Expo 2020 Dubai is"Connecting Minds, Creating the Future", adding that Dubai and China are the forerunners of the practice of"Creating the Future" in their respective regions. China is the most valuable partner of the UAE, and the UAE is very pleased that China will play an important role in the Expo 2020 Dubai.
Zhang Shenfeng, vice chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade gives a speech while attending the roadshow in Beijing. In his speech, Zhang Shenfeng, vice chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), underscored China’s deep relationswith the world expo, saying that the country has been committed to advancingopening up and cooperation, and promoting peace and development through the platform of the world expo. He said that under the theme of"Building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind--Innovation and Opportunities", exhibitions and activities at the China Pavilion of the Expo2020 Dubai will elaborate the vision of China's innovative development and showcase the new opportunities that China has brought to the world through system and mechanism innovation as well as scientific and technological innovation. China will share experiences and carry out exchanges and cooperation with the UAE and other countries.
The opening ceremony for the second batch of mediapartners and sponsors of the China Pavilion was also held during the event. Various activities organized by Chinese local governments and enterprises will be held at the China Pavilion so as to enhance exchanges and cooperation with other countries. Moreover, a serious of events, such as forums, artistic performances, youth exchanges and intangible cultural heritage exhibitions and shows, will also be held in order to help the world know more about Chinaand promote people-to-people exchanges and cultural cooperation.
"Panda China" will make debut at the Expo 2020 Dubai.A panda exhibition and relevant activities will be held at the China Pavilion, showcasing. the China’s notable progress and achievementsin protecting the vulnerable species and environment.

Exhibitions were held at the second floor of the China Pavilion and the Tongxing Square at the park of the Beijing horticultural expo during the roadshow, introducing the history of the world expo and some basic information about the Expo 2020 Dubai and the China Pavilion.
With the theme of"Connecting Minds, Creating the Future", the Expo 2020 Dubai will be held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates(UAE), from October 20, 2020 to April 10, 2021. So far, more than 190 countries and international organizations have confirmed participation in the event.
