Overview of Expo 2020 Dubai

Themed"Connecting Minds, Creating the Future," Expo 2020 Dubai will be held from Oct. 20, 2020 to April 10, 2021, in the southwestern part of the city. It will be the first world expo to be held in the Middle East. The Expo is expected to attract 25 million visitors.

Dubai plans to invest more than US$8 billion in the construction of venues and supporting infrastructure, including the construction of an airport, a subway line and“an exhibition city” covering an area of about 438 hectares.
