1999 Kunming International Horticultural Exposition held in China

From May 1 to Oct. 31, 1999, China successfully held the Kunming International Horticultural Expo with the theme of"Man and Nature, Marching into the 21st Century". Covering an area of 218 hectares, the venue of the Expo was located in the Golden Temple Scenic Area in the north of Kunming City, which attracted 9.43 million visitors from 69 countries and 26 international organizations.
