China Pavilion of Expo 2020 Dubai receive100,000 visitors

The China Pavilionof Expo 2020 Dubaireceived its 100,000th visitor onOct.17 local time.  

SaifQuraibi, a tourist from the United Arab Emirates was lucky to become the 100,000th visitor to the China Pavilion.  Whenheand his two friends entered thepavilion,they weregreetedby rapturous applause withwords of"Welcome the 100,000th visitor to the China Pavilion" displayed on the big screen of the preface hall.  PavilionDirector oftheChinaPavilionWangRui,andDeputyDirectors Ma Xuejun, Zhou Guangyao,andFang Ke,  presentedhimwith acertificate.He was also given exquisitecommemorative gifts, including badges oftheChina Pavilion and China Pavilion mascot,panda toys anduniqueChinese silk.


Saif visited all the exhibits in the China Pavilion following the aguide. During the test driving of thehigh-speed train, Saif said with excitement that he felt as if he was driving the train with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour from Beijing to the Dubai Expo site in just a few minutes, and the experience was quite realistic. Saif and his friends had lots of fun while experiencing the online learning at the smart education exhibit section. They also watched a video about pandas in China. The video shows how the adorable pandasforageandfrolicthroughout the year.

The century-old Yangzhou Yechun Restaurant at the hall treated Saif and his friends to the palatable Chinese food. The delicious and exquisite dishes unique to the areas along China’s Yangtze River andHuaiheRiver earned great acclaim fromthe guests.Thechef displayed how to makeYangzhou fried rice andWensi tofu, and theirdeftnessin managing cooking pans and cutting tools won the admiration of Saif and other visitors.  

Saif saidin an interview that he was very fond of Chinese culture. He added that the fantastic exhibition in the China Pavilion combined the ancient Chinese culture and modern Chinese sci-tech achievements. He also learned how tosay"I love China" in Chinese in the pavilion.  


The number of visitorsto the Dubai Expohadexceeded 410,000 byOct.10. The number keeps going up and will account for one-sixth of the expo’s total. Since its opening, the China Pavilion hashosted events includingBeidou Satellite Day, Giant Panda Exhibition, and Beijing Week.
